Is Sorghum Beer Gluten Free. These beers often have slightly different aromas and flavours to regular beer. Some african tribes have produced beer based on sorghum and corn for 20 years.
Crops like rice, corn, millet, sorghum, buckwheat, quinoa, and more are used in making this beer. Other are made with rye or barley but the gluten levels are reduced to under 20 ppm (parts per million). The absence of gluten in sorghum is one of many reasons to use it instead of barley.
